Regarding Approving the Integrated Customs Tariff Nomenclature According to the Harmonized Commodity

Cabinet Resolution No. 119 of 2024

The Cabinet:

  • Having reviewed the Constitution;

  • Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2021 Establishing the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP);

  • Federal Decree 55 of 2002 Concerning the Economic Agreement Among the GCC States;

  • Federal Decree No. 15 of 2022 Ratifying the Unified Customs Law for the GCC Countries, and its Executive Regulation;

  • Cabinet Resolution No. 17 of 2022 Approving the Unified Commodity Description and Coding Nomenclature of the GCC States According to the 2022 Harmonized System, and its Updates;

  • Based on the proposal of the ICP Chairman; and the approval of the Cabinet;

Has resolved as follows:

Article 1

The Integrated Customs Tariff Nomenclature According to the Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System of the GCC States (2022)and its Updates, attached hereto, shall be approved.

Article 2

Cabinet Resolution No. 17 of 2022 Approving the Unified Commodity Description and Coding Nomenclature of the GCC States According to the (2022) Harmonized System, and Updates thereto shall be repealed, as well as any provision contravening or contradicting this Resolution.

Article 3

This Resolution shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall enter into force as of 01 January 2025.
